Description:

Amomum, Chinese medicine name.It is the dried and ripe fruit of Amomum villosum Lour., green shell Amomum villosum lour. var.xanthioides t. l. weu et Senjen or hainan Amomum longiligulare t. l. weu.The fruits are harvested in summer and autumn, dried in the sun or dried at low temperature.

Functions:

1. Amomum is mainly used to treat obstruction in wet turbidity, wan PI PI not hungry, deficiency

     and cold of spleen and stomach, vomiting and diarrhea, evil obstruction of pregnancy,

      restlessness of fetal movement.

2. Arenaceous kernel has wet appetizer, warm spleen anti - diarrhea, qi - safe effect.Can be used

      to make medicines and health care products.

3. Arenaceous kernel has to smell of mutton, in addition to fishy, increase flavor, increase aroma

     and other functions, used for food seasoning.
